My Cozy Quits......
During these dreary cold winter days, what better to do than curl up, read a good book, drink some special coffee and feel embraced with so much Love......
My quilts are so special to me, I cherish every single stich that was sewn, and all the prayers prayed while putting these quilts together. They come from many generations and are such heirlooms to pass on.
I am working on one for Emily. We have cut up many of her favorite dresses. Our pattern is a TeddyBear. I'll blog when we complete.
** Interesting fact I've read recently in the Heritage Days when quilts were prominent. Quilts were turned over to reveal their beautiful stitching before company would arrive. This would give the ladies such pride of their worthy handywork.

Those are treasures for sure. They also seem warmer than an ordinary blanket don't you think? I'm glad you shared your quilts.
