How did you celebrate Memorial Day? We celebrated the day with some good food, some good friends, and a good game of basketball. The Ellis family came to our house, and I prepared a good o' southern Fish Fry. We had farmed raised catfish, (straight from the Tennessee River) homemade hushpuppies, tradional white beans, coleslaw, frenchfries, and to top it off peanut butter pie. Thank you for coming, Ya'll come back now, ya-hear!

i forgot to answer your question as to what we did for the Holiday weekend...
greg, aly and i had a hot-dog roast with all the trimmings on sunday evening. daddy, mark, anita, , nate, mary and another couple (larry and mari from our church) joined us. it was our first party with out-of-family guests in the new place... we had a lot of fun!
on Memorial day, the 3 of us joined mamaw smith, mama, daddy, uncle ron, aunt diane, mark, anita and nate at mamaw smith's house for a cook-out! BBQ burger's, chips, baked beans, and the rest of the cook-out favorites! YUMMY!
